Bournemouth Mental Health Forum

We are an independant Organisation formed in 2000, that allows adults who have or have had mental health problems to have a voice in how their services impact their lives. Our objectives are to promote communication and education in mental health; to combat the social stigma of those experiencing mental health problems and improve the access to services and treatment that are meaningful and effective.

We attend many Dorset Healthcare NHS Trust, Bournemouth and Poole PCT and Bournemouth Borough Council meetings, consultations and sit on Boards. We are striving to be an effective voice for service users in Bournemouth. We are a membership organisation open to current and past service users; you can also join us a carer, relative, friend or professional even just as someone who is interested in mental health.
